Wearing Hairpins 髮簪的穿戴
In this case the model wears some real antique hairpins to show how in the past people used them to decorate and secure in place their hair.
The model follows the example from an old postcard, which shows the back of a woman, expecially the hairstyle and how she used multiple hairpins for a beautiful effect.
Although not identical, this illustrates well how the lady in the picture used hairpins over one hundred years ago.
No hairpins were harmed during the taking of these photographs and their use was supervised by a trained conservator throughout.
